Wangaratta's Railway Precinct will light up with a night of entertainment for all ages on Friday 14th May from 4pm to 9pm.

The event celebrating the completion of the $8.5M project will see live music, local food & wine, and arty activities fill Norton Street and a section of Docker Street.

The Railway Precinct Grand Opening will also see "The Beacon" artwork on the water tower lit for the first time with an interactive display.

Gather your friends and family and head down to the Railway Precinct to celebrate the grand opening of Norton & Docker Streets. We will also see "The Beacon" artwork on the water tower lit for the first time with an interactive display. 

This free community event includes live music, local food and wine, giant games and arty activities. Dress up warm for this not-to-be missed event!  

There will be entertainers, Welcome to Country ceremony by Uncle Dozer and Uncle Kevin, puppet parade and much more!

Thankyou for registering! This helps to ensure our Covid-Safe plan is in place for the event and keep our community safe.

You are welcome to bring your own food & water, however we will have a range of food on site for you to enjoy! The event is licenced, so strictly NO BYO alcohol to the event. Brown Brother's Winery and Black Dog Brewery will be joining us on site.

No pets (except service animals). You may love your pets, however not everyone will.

From 4-6.30pm there will be heaps of fun for the kids, so come down early!

At 6.15pm Uncle Dozer and Uncle Kevin will perform a Welcome to Country and follow up songs on the didgeridoo with the fabulous Damanmu Bpangerang Dance Group

At 6.30pm we will light up the tower for the first time!

From 7-9pm its time to grab a seat with your friends and enjoy the entertainment.
